Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and masons, with various tasks and operations.
- Load, unload, and prepare building materials, tools, and equipment for use on the job site.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and ensuring proper storage of materials.
- Operate basic construction equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and hand tools, under supervision.
- Perform general site preparation, including excavation, leveling, and concrete finishing.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Transport materials between job sites using company vehicles or tools.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Physically fit and capable of working in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to strict safety guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
