Responsibilities
- Operate construction equipment and machinery safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Assist carpenters, electricians, and other skilled trades with daily tasks.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in reading blueprints when necessary.
- Perform physical labor including digging, tamping, and general cleanup.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
