Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely at the job site.
- Assisting Trades: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) by fetching tools, holding materials, and performing basic tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment such as jackhammers, generators, and pressure washers under supervision.
- Cleaning & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are followed.
- Measurements: Help measure and cut materials to required specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Work Ethic: Motivated to learn and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not always required for entry-level roles.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
