Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (OSHA standards).
- Perform site preparation, including layout, assembly, and installation of fixtures, panels, and wiring.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, including daily cleanup and equipment storage.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers to understand job requirements and expectations.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to obtain a North Carolina Electrician License and Journeyman certification.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites.
