Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, organization, and teardown of job sites, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, and transport them to work areas using hand trucks, forklifts, or heavy machinery.
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and holding materials as directed by foremen.
- Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., skid steers, forklifts) under direct supervision after receiving training.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Assist in the mixing of concrete, sanding, and other preparation tasks for painting and finishing.
- Keep job sites clean, removing debris and waste to ensure compliance with project standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred, but we highly value attitude and work ethic over formal education.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimation.
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (such as OSHA 10) on company time.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
