Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing construction sites, digging trenches, and leveling ground to prepare for building projects.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate basic construction tools and power equipment under the supervision of senior staff.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assistance: Provide general support to skilled trade workers, including framing, drywall, and concrete tasks.
- Measurement & Cutting: Accurately measure and cut materials as directed by project supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for 8+ hours a day, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attendance: Reliable attendance record with the ability to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and the ability to follow verbal and written safety instructions.
- Safety Compliance: Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times on the job site.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- License: Valid driver's license preferred.
