Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, marking areas, and setting up scaffolding or temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and general labor requirements.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools, generators, and basic heavy machinery under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Measurement & Layout: Perform basic measurements and layout tasks as directed by the project supervisor.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods outdoors.
- Willingness to Work: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Tools: Own basic work boots and safety glasses are preferred.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
