Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing and preparing construction sites, including digging, grading, and moving dirt.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials (bricks, concrete, lumber) to and from the site.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand tools and power tools (drills, saws) under supervision to help complete tasks.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a safe and clean work environment by removing debris and organizing tools.
- Assistance: Help skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Quality Control: Perform basic quality checks on materials and work areas to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record is essential.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
