Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including framing, drywall, and site preparation.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Clean and prepare job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Operate basic power tools and hand tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items up to 50 lbs.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe workplace.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills quickly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
