Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment (skid steers, forklifts) under supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Assistance: Provide general labor support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians.
- Transportation: Transport tools and materials between job sites as directed by the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be punctual.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Attitude: A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are essential.
