Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Tool Management: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring tools and equipment are stored safely and returned after use.
- Assist Tradespeople: Provide general support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradesmen as directed.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Waste Management: Properly sort and dispose of construction waste and recyclables.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, lifting, bending, and walking on uneven terrain.
- Work Ethic: A strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and a commitment to showing up on time every day.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver's license and Social Security card.
- Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
