Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment according to safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain basic hand and power tools, under supervision of skilled tradesmen.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Transport materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, shoveling, and removing debris.
- Support specific trades such as carpentry, electrical, or plumbing by providing necessary labor support.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and overtime when necessary.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- No prior construction experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
