Responsibilities
- Perform new construction wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance for residential and commercial properties in San Jose.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the best course of action for electrical installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct routine safety inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating project timelines and requirements clearly.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid California Journeyman or Master Electrician License is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, circuit breakers, transformers, and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
