Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by digging, hauling materials, and clearing debris.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials and equipment safely.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision.
- Support Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople.
- Site Clean-up: Maintain a clean and organized job site in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Measurements: Accurately measure and mark areas for cutting and assembly.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on safety and quality workmanship.
