Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites through material handling, debris removal, and equipment setup
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, levels) under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing tasks
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work environments
- Read blueprints and execute verbal instructions accurately
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and work in various weather conditions
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Wichita metro
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Construction experience preferred but not required
