Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris, laying foundations, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines are followed at all times.
- Support Tasks: Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywalling, or masonry as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for long hours.
- Experience: Prior construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with no experience.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as project demands require.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Documentation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
