Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including framing, drywalling, and finishing.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Measurement & Prep: Measure and cut materials as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing on feet for extended shifts.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Tools: Basic hand tools and willingness to provide your own safety gear (hard hat, boots).
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
