Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor tasks, including digging, lifting, and moving materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks on-site.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) under supervision.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe by following OSHA guidelines.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and construction plans.
- Unload and stack lumber, bricks, and other construction materials.
- Fill holes, grade terrain, and prepare sites for pouring concrete.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous construction or landscaping experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn new skills.
