Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Perform basic pipefitting tasks, including cutting, threading, and soldering copper piping.
- Install, repair, and replace water heaters, toilets, sinks, faucets, and drains.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes to ensure compliance.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including pipe wrenches, tape measures, and soldering torches.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths, angles, and calculating material needs.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- No prior experience is necessary; we provide paid on-the-job training and apprenticeship programs.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
