Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, laying out materials, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, levels) under supervision.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work area by performing regular cleanup duties, including sweeping and waste disposal.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with basic tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing on concrete.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record (commercial license preferred but not mandatory).
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and available for part-time shifts including weekends if required.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand tools and construction terminology is preferred.
