As a Construction Laborer at Apex General Contractors, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring our projects are completed to the highest standards. We value hard work, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including digging, leveling, and clearing debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Quality Control: Help maintain high-quality standards by performing routine inspections and ensuring work meets specifications.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with skilled tradespeople and other laborers to complete tasks as scheduled.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and standing for long durations.
- Driver's License: A valid Driver's License is required.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus; however, we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Safety Conscious: Familiarity with safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for team success.
