Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation tasks including digging, grading, and clearing debris.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under supervision to aid in daily operations.
- Demolition: Assist with light demolition tasks and debris removal to prepare sites for new construction.
- Quality Control: Perform basic quality checks on work areas to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Tools: Willingness to provide basic personal safety equipment (steel-toed boots, hard hat, gloves).
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Safety Mindset: Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
