Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including framing, drywalling, and finish work.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery, including forklifts and skid steers, in accordance with safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by following all OSHA and company safety guidelines.
- Perform physical labor tasks such as sanding, painting, and hauling materials.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices and terminology.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
