Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision (e.g., drills, saws, generators).
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping, raking, and organizing tools and materials.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various manual tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a secure worksite for everyone.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn new trades and techniques.
- Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Equipment: Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.
