Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks safely.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and levels, under supervision.
- Support Skilled Trades: Provide assistance to carpenters, electricians, and HVAC technicians as directed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred, but we offer on-the-job training for motivated individuals.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including potential overtime and weekends.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools is a plus.
