Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and moving materials.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment securely.
- Assist Tradespeople: Support carpenters, electricians, and masons by performing basic tasks and holding materials as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Measurements: Help with basic measurements and cutting tasks under supervision to ensure project specifications are met.
- Transportation: Operate small machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) or hand tools as required by the project scope.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects for extended periods (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn new construction techniques and safety standards.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus but not required.
- Documentation: Valid ID and eligibility to work in the United States.
