Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with daily tasks on active construction sites
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely using proper techniques
- Prepare and maintain job sites by clearing debris, leveling surfaces, and installing temporary structures
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and light machinery per safety protocols
- Follow OSHA guidelines and maintain safety standards across all work areas
- Read blueprints and verbal instructions to execute tasks accurately and efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor or related trade experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily attendance
