Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including framing, drywalling, and site preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, removing debris and hazards regularly.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in the layout of projects.
- Commute to various job sites within the Hampton Roads area.
Qualifications
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- High school diploma or GED preferred (but not required).
- Experience in construction is a plus but not mandatory for the right candidate.
