Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on active construction sites, including demolition, cleanup, and site preparation.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Lift, carry, and position heavy materials (50+ lbs) safely to ensure job site efficiency.
- Operate basic construction tools and power equipment following all safety guidelines.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as framing, drywall hanging, or finishing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with foremen, crew leads, and other team members.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Physically capable of performing heavy lifting, bending, and twisting motions.
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred but not always required).
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety (OSHA 10 preferred).
