Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks and operations.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and transport them to job sites.
- Operate basic construction equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers, under supervision.
- Perform site preparation, including digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety regulations.
- Measure, cut, and assist in the assembly of building materials as directed.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required; we train the right candidates.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing on uneven terrain.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (hot, cold, rain).
- Basic math skills and ability to read simple instructions or diagrams.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
