Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Assist in the loading, unloading, and staging of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding under supervision.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery (such as jackhammers, saws, and drills) safely and effectively.
- Assist Tradespeople: Support skilled tradespeople, including electricians, plumbers, and carpenters, by performing manual labor tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing hazards and organizing tools after use.
- Measure and Mark: Perform basic measurements and marking tasks to assist in the layout of projects.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Previous construction experience is a plus, but not mandatory. We value attitude and work ethic over experience.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work a full-time schedule.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Safety Mindset: Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety protocols.
