Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, marking areas, and setting up temporary facilities.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites safely.
- Support Trades: Work alongside electricians, carpenters, and plumbers to complete daily tasks and ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and tools (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) under strict supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Site Maintenance: Perform regular cleanup and maintenance of the work area to ensure efficiency and organization.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is preferred for commuting between sites.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Basic Math: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic calculations for measurements.
