Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan project execution.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including wire stripping, terminating connections, and mounting fixtures.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Document work performed and report any material or equipment issues immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in reading a tape measure.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade with a commitment to safety.
- No prior experience required; apprenticeship training provided.
