Job Summary
As an Electrician Apprentice or Entry-Level Technician, you will assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. You will gain hands-on experience working on residential and commercial projects throughout Detroit.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Use hand and power tools correctly and safely.
- Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
- Learn to troubleshoot electrical issues under supervision.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we will train you.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to obtain required safety certifications.
