Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision to assist skilled tradespeople.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Assistance: Help carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks as needed to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring, cutting, and fitting materials according to blueprints and specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills are essential.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
