Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites safely.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks including digging, pouring concrete, framing, and roofing.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing debris and obstacles.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, or compressors.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and site plans.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly without assistance.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as required.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team setting.
- Experience in general construction is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
