Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Perform site preparation tasks, including excavation, debris removal, and general cleanup.
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently under the supervision of a foreman.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Read and understand basic blueprints and job site layouts when applicable.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from site supervisors and foremen.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
