Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site clearing, excavation, and leveling to prepare the ground for construction activities.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to designated areas.
- Equipment Support: Operate and maintain basic construction tools and machinery under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Support Trades: Provide direct support to foremen and skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters).
- Demolition: Assist in the safe dismantling of structures and removal of debris.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and reliable transportation.
- Schedule Commitment: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Safety Conscious: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is a must.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
