Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers and pipefitters with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Transport and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks to job sites.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and soldering under supervision.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not required.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Strong desire to learn the plumbing trade and commitment to safety protocols.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
