Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, concrete work, and general site preparation.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure safety compliance.
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, and supervisor instructions to complete projects accurately.
- Perform physical labor, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA guidelines is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions carefully.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience with basic construction tools and equipment is highly desirable but not required.
