Responsibilities
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) for site preparation and material handling
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout, measuring, and material installation
- Perform concrete work including pouring, finishing, and form setup
- Load/unload equipment and materials safely using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Assist in emergency site repairs during off-hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for material estimation and measurement
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Dallas County
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency
