Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated work areas safely.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools under supervision, ensuring they are used safely and correctly.
- Support Trades: Provide on-site assistance to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing waste and debris regularly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in general construction labor preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- License: Valid Driver’s License (Class C) is required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors effectively.
- Attitude: A strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
