Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials and tools to and from the job site.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal and waste disposal.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, or jackhammers under direct supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols (OSHA guidelines) to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with manual labor tasks as directed by the foreman.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics when necessary.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is preferred but not required.
- A valid Driver’s License is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
