Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing, digging, and preparing construction sites for new projects.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Trade Assistance: Provide direct support to skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure safety compliance.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid Florida Driver’s License (Class E) and a clean driving record.
- Safety Mindset: Commitment to following all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
