As a night shift laborer, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Equipment Support: Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision; assist with basic equipment operation (e.g., forklifts, generators).
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Trade Assistance: Support journeyman and foremen with various tasks, including mixing concrete, carpentry help, or painting prep.
- Documentation: Help complete daily logs and safety reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM).
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Valid ID: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
