Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradesmen and foremen with various construction tasks, including carpentry, concrete work, and framing.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe environment for all team members.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and skid steers when certified or trained.
- Support: Perform general labor duties including digging, lifting, and cleaning job sites as required by project needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
