Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various on-site tasks and projects.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance of work areas to ensure safety standards are met at all times.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies strictly to prevent accidents.
- Assist in digging, lifting, and general manual labor as needed for project completion.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols (OSHA 10 preferred but not required).
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license is a plus, but not mandatory for the laborer role.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Must pass a basic background check and drug screen.
