Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks, including mixing concrete, digging, and hauling.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery safely under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Follow all project instructions and quality control standards set by the site foreman.
- Perform basic measurements and site preparation duties as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project needs.
Qualifications
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not always required.
- High school diploma or GED is a plus, but experience is valued more.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Experience with construction tools (preferred) or a strong desire to learn.
