Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Operate heavy machinery, forklifts, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal and waste management.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Site Supervisor immediately.
- Demolish structures and prepare sites for new construction as directed.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM).
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but we train motivated candidates.
