Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground for foundations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site efficiently.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and tools, including jackhammers, saws, and forklifts (training provided).
- Trade Assistance: Help skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with framing, drywalling, painting, and finishing tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the night shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in general labor or construction is preferred; we welcome motivated applicants willing to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long hours, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing on feet.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM).
- Safety Mindset: Strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
